We will come together at beautiful St Pete Beach, FL as a community to build relationships that will last a lifetime!

Now, more than ever, we need each other. During this 4 day LGBTQIA+ Well-being and Community Building retreat we will benefit deeply from each other’s company and the synergy of each unique expression in the group. We are honored to serve our community in this way.

We will come together at beautiful St. Pete Beach, FL as a community to build relationships that will last a lifetime! There is some very hurtful legislation being passed that is harmful to the LGBTQIA+ community. Our intention is to build a web of support together and for each participant to create an internal environment and microcosmic world that is pleasant and enjoyable for them. As we move through the weekend together on the beautiful gulf coast of St Petersburg, we will create our own individual plans for how to leave the retreat and be in the world.

Everyone deals with things like this in different ways and there is no judgement. If you would like to take some action we will support you to come from a grounded place, taking well-thought-out steps that will affect change but not out of a place of emotional reaction. An upset emotion may be the driving force but it must be presented well to be received more widely. If you need to lay low and take care of yourself we support that too and can help facilitate you putting together a plan to do so. We want to increase and expand our well-being and make sure we are finding happiness and connection in life. We all deserve to have the best and brightest expressions in life.

We will engage in beach yoga, yoga nidra, meditation, expressive arts, Dancing Mindfulness, journaling, sharing circles, and more. We’ve collaborated with a Queer Licensed Mental Health Counselor to develop this retreat and they will also be present and available to meet with.

All meals will be provided with the exception of one lunch where you will have time to yourselves to explore the area with the option to eat with new friends or spend some time on your own. Breakfast is self-serve with a variety of healthy options.

*We will have a Zoom call beforehand where we can all meet each other virtually before meeting in person. It is important that you make every effort to attend! We will do introductions, discuss the schedule, set our intentions for the retreat, and have a Q&A period.

Join Transpire Help and some of the most talented Divas in Palm Beach County, for Halloween Bingo and Glamorous Performances!

More About Transpire Help

Transpire Help is a nonprofit organization founded in 2016 to connect LGBTQ+ people in recovery to the care and resources necessary to create a solid foundation for a healthy and fulfilling life.

We help LGBTQ+ individuals access addiction treatment, mental health services, medication, housing, food, clothes for job interviews, and much more.

Transpire Help is also an outreach and education based nonprofit. We create resources for professionals in the mental health industry to learn how to be good allies to LGBTQ+ clients at their centers. With our LGBTQ Cultural Awareness presentation, we have visited dozens of treatment centers in South Florida.
