What types of butterflies and bees are you seeing fly past your window? Why won’t those spiders build their webs elsewhere so we’re not always walking into them? Let’s talk about it!
St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park will be hosting virtual events and discussing a new topic each week. Share what animals you’re seeing each week from wherever you live or if you can get outside. We’re encouraging everyone to share their photos or drawings, too!
On Fridays at 12pm EST, we’ll be going LIVE with our Education Curator, Trevor, and special guests to talk about the animals in our backyards and answer any questions you all have about those animals. At the end of the event, we’ll share some of your photos and art work to our main page.
Throughout the virtual events, we’ll share photos, videos, and activities about the topics each week.
Our aim is to engage our community in learning more about the world around them, and provide parents and teachers with activities for the kids.
We’re looking forward to seeing all the cool animals you have in your backyard!
