Bradley’s on 7th sits right in the heart of the gayborhood and is a favorite among the locals. One of USA Today’s “Ten Best,” its quirky decor is sure to charm you, with realistic-looking tree trunks sprawling from floor to ceiling, and a stream of flowing water that runs the entire length of the bar. But, it’s the friendly staff, inclusive vibe, and “heavy pours” that keep you coming back for more. 

City Side Lounge

With three separate bars – the main bar, a weekend-only patio bar, and a sports bar, there’s always something going on at City Side Lounge. Here, you can relax, enjoy a cocktail, and “drink in” the great vibes. Stop in for daily drink specials and events, including karaoke nights, drag bingo Sunday, “Free for all Friday”, game nights, bear nights and more. There’s a friendly, easy-going feel here, where top 40 music, and strong drinks are always on tap.

Southern Nights

Never a dull moment is the best way to describe Southern Nights. Formerly known as G-Bar, it’s the place to be if you’re looking for a night of dancing, drinking, and entertainment. With a goal “to provide a premier nightclub experience for the LGBTQ community in greater Tampa,” this expansive, glitzy club has amateur drag competitions, college nights, and drag shows, while welcoming all who come through its doors.

Johnsons Tampa

2606 N Armenia Avenue

Tampa’s only gay male strip club and formerly known as Cristoph’s, Johnsons Tampa is an upscale social experience with performers from around the world. Handsome bartenders are masters at crafting delicious cocktails, while, at the same time, making you feel right at home. Happy hour is every night with half priced drinks. Sorry ladies, Johnsons is for men only. Females must be accompanied by a male for entry. 

MR D’z Men’s Emporium

1510 N Nebraska Avenue

Don’t let the word “emporium” throw you. While there is a retail space here for all things leather, Mr D’z Men’s Emporium is an LGBTQ+ bar in Tampa that’s billed as “an alternative leather-vibe bar/establishment.” And, while the vibe may be leather, make no mistake, all are welcome at Mr D’z, where an outdoor seating area, good music, lockers, fun vending machines, and great drinks, are all waiting to greet you.

Reservoir Bar

Looking for a local dive bar? Perhaps the Reservoir Bar is for you. It’s your traditional low-key dive bar that describes itself as “the finest hole-in-the-wall” in Ybor City. The Castle

Every night is Halloween in this Eastern European, gothic-style castle. “Everyone is welcome, nothing is taboo” are the words The Castle in GAYbor live by. It’s a multilevel dance club playing music from top 40 to new age where you are free to be who you are with a mode of dress from Goth to fetish to superhero. Be sure to check out their awesome mix of single malt scotches, handpicked bourbons, aged tequilas, and beers from around the world.

Club Prana

1619 E 7th Avenue

Famous for its five levels of entertainment, Club Prana is more than just your typical nightclub. Each floor has its own vibe and music style, from hip hop and top 40, to Latin and reggae. The top floor is where you find the Sky Bar, a tropical-themed bar with amazing views of Tampa’s skyline.
