Vegan Restaurant in Pensacola

Share the Love

There are plenty of reasons to go vegan: personal health, championing animal rights, lessening one’s carbon footprint, and other ethical reasons. No matter what your motivation is, a plant-based diet definitely doesn’t have to equate to eating just salad and tofu for the rest of your days!

With more and more people transitioning to a vegan diet, more and more restaurants are now catering to vegan-friendly plant-based diets. We’ve put together a list of our favorite Pensacola vegan restaurants so you know exactly where to go to get your fill of vegan meals.

Our Favorite Vegan Restaurants In Pensacola, FL

End Of The Line Cafe

610 E Wright St, Pensacola, FL 32501

One of the pioneers in the local vegan food scene, End of the Line Cafe has been around since 2002. It offers lots of classic vegan fare, from hummus to salads to paninis. The restaurant doesn’t stop at offering healthy, vegan food, either – it also makes sure to source its ingredients ethically.

We are a huge sucker for its delicious vegan version of a quesadilla, which is stuffed with vegan pepper jack and cheddar, black olives, and jalapeños, all served on a bed of mixed greens and topped with pico de gallo. If you want this classic with a twist, you can’t go wrong with the Black Bean and Spinach Quesadilla.

End of the Line Cafe is closed on Mondays but is open to serve you on Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10:00am to 10:00pm and on Sundays from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

Cafe Single Fin

380 N 9th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32502

Cafe Single Fin started in 2014 inside Waterboyz Surf and Skate Shop, hence its name and logo: a surfboard with a single fin. Over the years, the cafe has expanded, although you can still get your custom surfboards or skate all day in Pensacola’s largest wooden indoor skatepark.

The menu in Cafe Single Fin caters to many different diets, including vegan ones. It has a dizzying array of menu items, from all-day breakfast to smoothies to baked goods. We’re big fans of the Vegan Costa Wrap, which is a burrito with scrambled seasoned tofu, rice, black beans, avocado, vegan sausage, and vegan cheese. We recommend finishing off your meal with one of its baked goodies – we like the Everything Cookie, which is both vegan and gluten-free!

Cafe Single Fin is open all week, from 8:00am to 8:00pm on Mondays to Saturdays, and from 8:00am to 3:00pm on Sundays.

Khon’s On Palafox

34 S Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32502

While not a strictly vegan restaurant, Khon’s makes our list as it has an entire section of the menu dedicated to vegans. Its owners realized that many of its southeast Asian-inspired dishes are already vegan, and they decided to expand its offerings to cater to vegan customers.

Khon’s vegan menu is definitely nothing to scoff at – there are a lot of filling options, from salads to stir-fry. There’s the classic Rice Stir-fry with bean sprouts, carrots, green onions, peas, and then topped off with cilantro that we absolutely love.

But if you happen to be one of those people who can’t stand cilantro, go for the Hot Chili Tofu, which is tofu cubes fried to crispy goodness, tossed in with bell peppers in Khon’s house-made chili garlic sauce, garnished with green onion and black sesame, and then served with jasmine rice.

Khon’s is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30am to 9:00pm. It’s closed on Sundays and Mondays.

O’Zone Pizza Pub

1010 N 12th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32501

Craving for some pizza? O’Zone Pizza Hub has you covered. You can order and have your pizza delivered, or you can head on over to its cozy bar tucked inside an old hospital with a gothic castle vibe. It certainly is an experience all in itself, especially if you’re into historic buildings with a quirky vibe.

While O’Zone’s menu is not vegan by default, you can easily veganize any pie by requesting vegan cheese and having any meat products omitted. We love La Bianco, the white pizza with no red sauce – just a layer of roasted garlic and herb-infused olive oil smothered with ricotta, mozzarella, fresh basil, and fresh Roma tomatoes. If you’re picky with your toppings, you also can build your own pie instead and get all the veggie goodness you want!

O’Zone Pizza Pub is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.

Carmen’s Lunch Bar And Tapas

407 S Palafox St, Ste B, Pensacola, FL 32502

An adorable little lunch bar situated in downtown Pensacola, Carmen’s Lunch Bar and Tapas is a great option if you’re looking for an eclectic menu full of flavors from all over the world. Just be prepared to come to a full restaurant if you come in during lunch hours – this is a favorite lunch spot and is often full!

Not everything on the menu is vegan-friendly, but the items that are are absolutely heavenly. Start with the spicy Olivas Picantes, or Castelvetrano green olives served with roasted yellow tomatoes and serrano peppers. The Vegan Moroccan Vegetable Curry is the perfect entree, with turmeric basmati rice smothered with harissa, golden raisins, chickpeas, and other delicious ingredients.

Carmen’s Lunch Bar is closed from Monday to Sunday. It’s open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Sammy Barker’s American Street Food

875 E Nine Mile Rd, Ste 8, Pensacola, FL 32514

American street food is not usually vegan – hotdogs, burgers, and tacos are usually full of meat and the furthest thing from a vegan meal. Thankfully, Sammy Barker’s, well-known for its meat-heavy menu, also provides meat-free alternatives for vegans and vegetarians!

Sammy Barker’s burger menu comes with veggie burger patties made out of artichoke, grains, peas, and seeds, which are vegan-friendly. The restaurant also has a veggie dog for its coneys, made out of a carrot marinated in the same spices that it uses for the hotdogs.

Unfortunately, the buns for both the burgers and coneys are not vegan, just vegetarian. This makes the Street Tacos our true favorite – the meat can be replaced with jackfruit, one of the best vegan meat substitutes.

Sammy Barker’s is open Mondays to Thursdays from 11:00am to 9:00pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00am to 10:00pm, and Sundays from 10:30am to 8:00pm.

86 Forks Bar + Table

11 Palafox Pl, Pensacola, FL 32502

Craving for some Asian fusion goodness? 86 Forks Bar + Table is the place to be. It has a fun, hip interior that makes for an enjoyable stay as you share a scrumptious meal with friends. Its menu is not entirely vegan, but there are lots of vegan options that you can choose from.

Noodle bowls are one of the best dishes in Asian cuisine, so spring for the Tofu Veggie Noodle Bowl, which uses spiralized zucchini noodles and is served with seasoned tofu, shiitake mushrooms, baby bok choy, and other veggies in a rich veggie broth. If you’re looking for something “meatier’, there’s also the Impossible Rice Noodle Bowl, which has Impossible patties.

86 Forks Bar is open from 12:00nn to 10:00pm on Sundays to Thursdays. On Fridays and Saturdays, it is open from 12:00nn to 12:00mn.
